How to Update Zanaco KYC Online.

To improve your banking experience you need to update your Zanaco KYC. As of February 2025 All customers needs to update the Zanaco KYC and the good news is that it can be done online. Zanaco bank is requesting all its customers to update their bank details as a requirement by policy.

How to update Zanaco KYC online

To update your Zanaco KYC (Know Your Customer) information online, follow these steps:

Step 1. Download ZamChat app 👉 Here

Open ZamChat app and Click this icon  at the bottom corner of the app.
Scroll down and open Zanaco by clicking "Go" under it.


Step 2. Enter Your Registered Mobile Number as shown below 
Input the mobile number linked to your Zanaco account.

Step 3. Click Submit and wait for a text message with a 4 digit code on your phone.
After clicking "submit" a screen will appear like below. Enter your personal bank details as shown in the example below

Detailed Instructions

After clicking on "NRC front"  and "NRC back", your camera will open so just capture your NRC front, then next your NRC back.

On the "Customer photo" capture a selfie of your self with clear face.

On the "select customer signature" write your signature on a plain paper and capture it.


Required Documents for Zanaco KYC Update

To update your Zanaco KYC, you’ll need to submit clear copies of the following documents:
  1. Valid Identification Document (any one of the following):

    • National Registration Card (NRC)

Upload Guidelines (for online update)

  • Documents must be clear, legible, and in accepted file formats (PDF, JPG, or PNG).

  • File size limits may apply (typically under 5MB each).

Ensure you complete your KYC update by May 31, 2025, to avoid any disruptions to your banking services.

Note: If you do not update your bank details (KYC), your account will be suspended and you can't withdraw money or make any transaction.
